Winter

Our house is just a 10-minute drive from the nearest ski slope, set on a sunny south-facing hillside in Osttirol, known for having the most sunshine hours in Austria.
Winter sports, ski rental, and the ski bus (stopping near the house) are all within easy reach. Toboggan runs are nearby, including the famous Hochstein run.

Summer

In summer, there are plenty of options for outdoor activities, including hiking, rafting, mountain climbing, mountain biking, golf, swimming in the Tristacher See (lake), boat trip on the Weissen See. Not to forget make a nice road trip with your car or motorcycle on Europe’s most beautiful mountain pass “Grossglockner pass”

Restaurants

Just around the corner, Iselsbergerhof offers delicious food at a great price and can also be reached by a scenic walk (45 minutes up, 30 minutes down).
For a special evening, visit Im Stadel in Debant or the restaurants at Dolomitengolf & Spa.

Cafe’s & Clubs

Enjoy a drink at Lienzer Tenne at the gondola base after a day on the slopes. On Zettersfeld, cozy mountain huts offer food and great views.
Faschingsalm (accessible with 4×4 or snow chains) is perfect for ski touring and home to huts like Naturfreundehütte and Meckie’s.
